Polina is a visual artist working across photography, moving image, and performance. Her practice explores identity as something shaped through memory, embodiment, and lived experience.
Working through small, concept-driven series, she examines how bodies, gestures, and material traces carry meaning across time from inherited histories to intimate, personal narratives. Through restrained imagery and an emphasis on presence, her work attends to moments of quiet intensity, where personal history, desire, and belonging intersect within private spaces.
With a degree in sociology and actor training at the Stella Adler Conservatory in New York, Polina approaches the image as a site of performance, attuned to the body, gesture, and lived experience as carriers of meaning.
